Gardens part of Mr Souphanouvong's memorial beside Vieng Xay Caves in Vieng Xay District, Houaphanh Province, Laos, Southeast Asia. Also called the 'Hidden City,' the caves served as the Pathet Lao revolutionary movement's command center from 1964 to 1975, housing some 20 000 people and contained government offices, temples, markets, schools, hospitals, theaters and factories.
